After reading an interesting post in @datingish about wearing lingerie and dressing up for you significant other, I thought to myself, "Would I wear lingerie?".
I've had the urge to want to try it, after all, adventure and surprises is something that should never be lost in the bedroom. Although my SO doesn't mind me not wearing any of that stuff in order to please him, I can't help to think why shouldn't I try it anyways? Also after reading all these comments about these women dressing up (the majority agreed that they would dress up for their man or woman), I thought, "Maybe I should try it..." I felt encouraged at that moment. The problem is that I'm so damn self-conscious about it >_<, even though I've known this man practically all my teenage life, I still can't help but be shy around him. I've always been a shy person!
Of course, there are things to consider when you think about it, lingerie is pretty expensive! Especially for something that will require its use for maybe a couple of seconds , who lasts throughout the whole event with it on anyways? But then I think, would I look good in it? Mainly, the idea of wearing sexy lingerie is not only to please your SO, but also to please yourself, boost up your confidence of how you feel in your own skin. And in this day and age, there are a numberless selection of different styles to choose from! Personally, I like corsets, especially since I use them to sing (need that extra support for the breathing technique), and I've always thought that they look not only classy but also mischievous in its own versatile way. I think that's what attracts me to them in the first place.
So here I am, debating on whether I should play the good cop bad cop thing, or maybe in this case, naughty cop? I've never done it before (not even on our "honeymoon" since we didn't really have one), but why shouldn't I start now? I'm young, he's young, but there's no time to waste since life can be so short! I've got all the tools I need in my favor to knock this thing down...all I'm missing is...maybe more encouragement?

Having acid reflux and being a singer, is not a good combination. I'm prone to acid reflux, and what's worse, I love to eat citrus and tomato based dishes (such as lasagna, meatball pasta, etc.). It's torture to think about how I need to let go of those foods I so enjoy...just because they're not good for my condition. But, for the sake of what I most enjoy doing (singing), I'm willing to compromise...even if it means...letting go...of...(wait *sigh* give me a moment to mourn ... ...) lasagna... Anyways, I've found out that two of the foods that are friendly to people who have acid reflux disease, are potatoes and carrots. There are many other, like banana and apples, but I just don't feel like mentioning all of them, I just want to focus on these two in particular because they're my favorite . *Ahem*, so as I was saying, I've decided to go on a potato and carrot diet for at least a month to see how well it fares for my stomach. I'll eat the usual meats, avoid anything tomato based, citrus based and even the foods that come in cans (FYI: The preservatives from canned food can cause heartburn and lead to acid reflux). I can't give up the egg, but I'm willing to give up the yolk, I don't mind eating egg whites instead.
Let's see what happens in a few weeks, hopefully it calms down my acid reflux problem!

I went to walgreens and bought a large package of 48 file folders, it cost me $6.79. Here's where I'll make it more clearer, today is our last day of choir rehearsal before the big graduation ceremony, also, it's the day in which we choir members have to return all of the music that we used during this semester and give it in a clean file folder to our director. It happens quite often, that many of us forget to bring clean file folders and so what happens is that in the end we take what we can find even if it's coffee stained or just really unkempt and then we give it to the profesor/director, who in turn takes away points for the disordely presentation. This is where my genius comes in...or just smarts. I decided to sell the 48 file folders I bought, each for .50 cents. I just began to receive buyers and made $5.00 in only 2 minutes! XD Today is just one those days in which I'm glad I have some kind of genius in me! | | |
